About Del Sol IGA
Del Sol IGA is a family-owned group of eight grocery stores serving San Luis, Somerton, Wellton and Yuma, Arizona, and Holtville, California. For more than 30 years, Del Sol has served our communities with fresh foods, authentic flavors, variety and personal service, while creating local jobs and supporting local families. Del Sol is owned by Victor Salcido and operated by Factor Sales Inc.
Our Roots in Somerton
Del Sol’s history in Somerton goes back decades. King Market #2 began serving the community in 1989, followed by Del Sol #7 in 1998. As Somerton grew, so did the need for a larger supermarket, so Del Sol’s owner acquired several properties around the original King Market #2 location to build a new, modern store to replace both.
On November 16, 2016, Del Sol #13 opened in Somerton with fresh produce, a full-service meat department, deli, bakery, a restaurant serving authentic Mexican food, a wider selection of Hispanic and everyday groceries, and an in-store corn tortillería that makes fresh tortillas throughout the day.
Growing Across the Region
Today, Del Sol Ace IGA in San Luis pairs a full supermarket with a full ACE Hardware store, a clothing department and a Mexican restaurant. Our Yuma 16th Street store’s Del Sol Restaurante takes online orders for pickup, and our newest store, Del Sol #14, opened in the Yuma Foothills with a restaurant inside.
Doña Lupe: Our Own Line
Our Doña Lupe products are made for the families we serve: flour tortillas in Regular, Sobaquera and Whole Wheat; fresh corn and taco-size tortillas; teleras, Virginia and birote; and Doña Lupe totopos in Regular, Chile, Queso, Chile Azul and Flamazo.

Since 2013, Del Sol has earned numerous South County’s Best awards, including Best Tortillas (Doña Lupe), Best Salsa, Best Aguas Frescas and, on multiple occasions, Best Grocery Store. These awards mean the most to us because they reflect the trust of the families we serve.
While our stores have changed over the years, our purpose remains the same: to serve our community, create local jobs, support local families, and offer quality, value, familiar flavors and friendly service.
